Speech tittle: Connotation, Architecture and Model of Digital Twin Basin
With the rapid development of emerging digital technologies such as Internet of Things (IoT), computation power network technology, simulation technology, and artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain technology, humanity is entering an era of “humans-machines-objects” intertwined in the integration based integration of sensing, communication, and computation, the opening of the new era of digital twin and metaverse.
Starting from the development and evolution trend of the new generation of information and communication technology, the report puts forward basic concept, the system architecture and key technologies of digital twin basin, Finally, the report presents the connotation of digital twin basin, the architecture of digital twin basin based on ABCDMEETS and the construction method of digital twin basin model is proposed
Prof. Chow Ming Fai, Monash University Malaysia, Malaysia
Short Biography: Ming Fai Chow was born in Malaysia, in 1983. He received the B.Sc. degree from the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), in 2007, and the Ph.D. degree in civil Engineering in 2011.,He attached to the Research Center for Environmental Changes of Academia Sinica, Taiwan, from 2012 to 2013. Since 2012, he took part and led seven national research grants in Malaysia. In 2014, he joined as a Senior Lecturer with the Civil Engineering Department, Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN). In 2017, he became a Chartered Engineer and obtained the Malaysian Professional Engineer title (Ir.), in 2019. He is currently an Associate Member of the Disaster Preparedness and Prevention Centre (DPPC), Malaysia–Japan International Institute of Technology (MJIIT). His research interests include sustainable urban stormwater management, green infrastructures, renewable energy, flood forecasting and management system, disaster risk reduction, hydropower, and dam management.,Dr. Fai was a Project Member of the Japan Science and Technology Research Partnership for Sustainable Development Grant (SATREPS), in 2011, where he involved in the research and development for Geo-Hazard Damage Reduction caused by landslide and flood in Malaysia. In 2017, he took part in the Japan-JASTIP-Net Research grant under the Project: Assessing Water Quality in the Langat River Basin during Disaster Period Using Integrated Remote Sensing and Modeling Methodologies. He was the 2011 Student Travel Grant Award of the American Geophysical Union (AGU). He received the Green Talent International Award from the German Ministry of Education and Research, in 2015, and four awards from UNITEN.
Dr. Hitesh Panchal, Government Engineering College Patan, Gujarat, India
Short Biography: Dr. Hitesh Panchal obtained his Ph.D. in Solar Thermal Engineering in 2015 from KSV University Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. He is currently working as Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department in Government Engineering College Patan. Dr. Panchal has published 200 plus Research papers in reputed International Journal publications like Taylor and Francis, Springer, Elsevier, ASME, etc., and received 11500 plus Google scholar citations with H index 64and I10 index 220. Dr. Panchal obtained 28 prestigious awards includes Tech GURU Award, Pedagogical Innovation Award, SSIP Prashansha Award, Preeminent Researcher Award, Best Ph.D. Thesis Award, Young Scientist Award, Bright Researchers Award, and many more. Dr. Panchal has completed 3 Research projects and currently working on a Research project under STEM grant, Education Department, Government of Gujarat. Dr Panchal filed 30 Full patents and 20 Industrial designs, and among them, two full patents and eighteen industrial designs had granted. His areas of interest include “Solar Desalination, I C Engine emission analysis, Automobile engineering, etc. Dr. Panchal selected in the Top 2 % Indian scientist in Energy Category published by Stanford University & Elsevier during 2019 to 2023.
Prof. Murat Kirişci, Department of Biostatistics and Medical Informatics, Cerrahpaşa Medicine Faculty, Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa, Turkey
Short Biography: Dr. Murat Kirişci is a Professor in the Department of Biostatistics and Medical Informatics, Cerrahpaşa Medicine Faculty at the Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa. He received a Ph. D. degree in Mathematics from Erciyes University. His research has been focused on the Matrix domain, statistical convergence, fixed point theory, decision-making, fuzzy sets and systems, fuzzy logic, risk analysis, artificial intelligence, machine learning, intelligence systems, and optimization. He has contributed research papers in reputed journals and as a reviewer in different scientific journals.
Prof. Kamal Shah, Prince Sultan University, Saudi Arabia
Short Biography: Kamal Shah is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Mathematics, University of Malakand, Pakistan. He is a Senior Researcher with the Department of Mathematics and Sciences, Prince Sultan University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He is involved on fractional calculus, fuzzy analysis, and numerical modeling of real-world problems.
Prof. Wei Li, Jiangsu University, China
Short Biography: Dr. Wei Li is a professor at National Research Center of Pumps, Jiangsu University, China. He obtained his BE in 2003, ME in 2005 and PhD in Engineering in Fluid Machinery from Jiangsu University in 2012, and worked there since 2006. He was a visiting scholar in professor Ramesh Agarwal’s group at Department of Mechanical Engineering & Materials Science, Washington University in St. Louis from 2017-2018. He is currently the deputy director of National Research Center of Pumps, and the director of the Key Laboratory in Energy Saving Technology of Pump and System of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry. 2016 he served as Vice-Secretary of Drainage and Irrigation Equipment Division of Chinese Society for Agricultural Machinery, 2019 he served as Secretary-General of Power Engineering and Engineering Thermophysics Discipline Union of Universities in Jiangsu Province, 2020 he served as vice-President of China National Evaluation Measurement Test Alliance of Flow Meter. His research interest is focused on designing and optimization of advanced devices for high-efficiency pumped storage and hydropower utilization, particularly of energy loss mechanism in mixed-flow pump. He has published more than 170 papers, hold 39 patents and published 3 books. His work has been recognized by several awards including the National Science and Technology Award (Second Class) of China, the National Teaching Achievement Award (Second Class) of China, the Industry-University-Research Cooperation innovation Achievement Award (First Class) of China, the Science and Technology Award (Second Class) of Chinese ministry of education, the Science and Technology Award (Third Class) of Jiangsu Province (China) and the Silver award of the first China Dual-use Technology Innovation and Application Competition.
